MD: Okay, everyone’s together now. So what’s the plan to make Twilight a superstar?
Twilight Sparkle: It’s probably too late for a spirited letter writing campaign, right?
MD: Is…is that really what you want to do?
Twilight Sparkle: No. No I do not.
MD: Hey! Ya never know with players!
Twilight Sparkle: Actually…how much time do we have left anyway?
MD: ‘Til the portal closes? It closes tomorrow night. The night of the dance…Everyone was outside watching the game, right?
PP: I don’t like those sentences that close together.

There is a fine line between offering your players a challenge, and trying to destroy them with your machinations. You don't always know when you've crossed it, but it's easy to recognize from outside.
The best plan of any party The Werefrog was ever in was delivering a fruit basket to the great dragon.
Great Dragons are known to kill those who approach their lairs. However, we needed to go to the lair to ask a favor of the great dragon. Therefore, we needed an excuse to go there. As such, we planned to deliver a basket filled with fruit to the dragon stating we were hired to deliver the basket.
Of course, the entity that hired us to deliver the basket was our party. Yep, we hired ourselves to deliver a basket of fruit to a dragon who lived in the mountains on the opposite side a desert simply to ask him if what he knew of a butter spider.
