Story Time prompt: When one PC provided counseling, therapy, or the like to another PC. Bonus if this resulted in a positive mechanical effect, such as recovering Sanity."

In an old Dresden Files RPG campaign, providing counselling was a major part of what my character Jimmy did. And it did result in positive mechanical effect: he helped people recover from their mental Consequences.
In Hell's Rebels, our brawler recently ran recklessly into a situation before the rest of us could move in to back her up and it got her killed. Prior to this, she'd been able to dodge-tank her way through anything, so in-character this hit her a lot harder psychologically than it did the rest of us, who have already needed to be rezzed at various points in the story. Sadly, we didn't have time to properly address it during the session itself beyond some comforting after she was initially brought back, and while we'd like to roleplay it out in more depth between sessions, her player was busy moving to a new place so she was internet-deprived for a while.
