I'd just assumed that she'd get those bonuses to different skills instead, since apples can't exactly make Bluff, Move Silently, Hide, Listen, Spot, or Sense Motive checks... maybe Profession (cook), (farmer), etc. to cultivate trees, harvest apples, then bake, mash, or otherwise prep 'em. ^_^

Honestly, it tastes like someone took a really strong vodka and decided to say it was Cider. If there's any actual apple taste in it, I can't tell.

Kinda funny that Pinkie Pie's comment, "Ooh! I LOVE good applejack!" in the comic came way before the episode "The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000" aired that establishes her as the pony who always gets to be first in line to buy cider from Sweet Apple Acres during cider season.
