Twilight Sparkle was extremely patient with the ponies in Ponyville. But even the most patient roleplayer will draw the line somewhere.

awesome. this is quite the cool comic! May i ask what program or app you used to draw this in?

He doesn't draw it. The images are screencaps from "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic", of which the comic is a comedic twist showing how events would unfold if it was being done by a group of roleplayers rather than actual characters.

But still, you're right. It is a cool comic.

It's already been explained where the images are from, but since the program wasn't explained... it's done in Flash.

Awesome, can't wait to see the triumphant return of the Mare in the Moon!
noname 20th Oct 2011, 6:30 AM edit delete reply
Well, I hope we'll see "the triumphant return of the Mare on the Moon" much earlier than in the 50+ strip, anyway.

I was wondering why that wasn't added to this comic.

Not really true. Then again, not really true in the original script either.

Well they all have their moments of crazy
Draco Dei 25th Oct 2011, 1:26 PM edit delete reply
True that... but not until later (except for Pinkie of course, who goes crazy in a DIFFERENT way just about as often as the others go crazy PERIOD).

Give her time..

Ooh, this hits very close to home. The entire party is off getting their characters as drunk as possible, while the DM and more serious players plead with them to continue the plot. That's pretty much exactly what's happening in our Pathfinder campaign right now, much to my frustration.

Can't fault them for roleplaying, I suppose.

And then the stars start moving in towards the moon. Then the Mare in the Moon disappears!

Glad I'm not the only one who read it as that at first. XD

Pinkie: "Now I will need to find a banjo as well."

"Have tuba, will travel."

Stop groping me!
Philadelphus 20th Oct 2011, 10:36 AM edit delete reply
Shouldn't that be "Beginning is Neigh?" ;)

Seriously though, I love your comic. It's what got me started watching MLP in the first place (about a month ago), and I haven't looked back since.

No, that can't be the title. We'd all take 1d4 damage if that was the title!

Darn it, I wanted to post that! :P

Poor Twilight's player. So distraught.

Well, at least we know in the future that this turns awesome. NMM's HAM! turns out to be all Luna from the looks of things. I wuv that mare, even when she's trying to accidentally kill me by bringing about eternal night.

I mean, the only pony who comes close is Dash, and the rainbow one only has metal theme music, when Luna's first appearance since the first episode looks like she came right off of a heavy metal cover.
Draco Dei 25th Oct 2011, 1:35 PM edit delete reply
(Technically the second episode depending on how you count). But, yes, straight off the cover of a heavy metal CD. Of course, her intro didn't TECHNICALLY include any rock-and-roll, but lawyer friendly rewrites of "Night on Bald Mountain" are 'totally metal' despite such unimportant details.

*Examines second-to-last panel, then goes back and watches same scene in episode*

Waitaminute... I can't believe I never noticed those stars twinkling and moving toward the moon in that scene! D:
